Quando a água acabar

O fotojornalista norte-americano Evan Abramson passou meses viajando na África para registrar como a mudança climática está alterando a relação das tribos semi-nômades na região da Etiópia e do Quênia. O resultado é o documentário de curta-metragem
“When the Water Ends” (Quando a água acabar) e cerca de 10 mil fotos.

Antes dispondo de vastos recursos naturais, hoje essas populações africanas começam a sentir os efeitos do aquecimento global. As consequências: surgem conflitos entre integrantes das diferentes tribos.

O vídeo foi originalmente publicado pela Revista Digital Yale Environment 360, publicação do curso de estudos do meio ambiente da Universidade de Yale.

As temperatures rise and water supplies dry up, semi-nomadic tribes along the Kenyan-Ethiopian border increasingly are coming into conflict.
