When I was in Porto Alegre, FestFotoPoa, I met the photographer Jean Schwarz . He gave me a CD with a beautiful design with Mbya Guarani Indians.

Now, Jean is being exposed to these photos in Fundacíon de la Cuenca , in Santa Fe in Argentina.

Jean is a young photographer from the South and shows that incitement by striking documentary photography. I found him by Flickr Group of Paraty in Focus with a new essay called "Killer Fish". Jean explains a bit: "These images seek to portray the tradition of fishing for mullet in Sta Catarina, a legacy left in the Azorean island. The fishing occurs between May and July, a time when mullets migrate from the southern tip of the continent to the coast of Parana and Santa Catarina. The scouts (function performed by the older fishermen) identify the school at sea and warn the fishermen on the beach. The dinghies (boats) to do fencing and fish nets are pulled from the beach by fishermen or anyone else is willing to help. "

When one focuses the mind and energy on something it becomes meaningful. For many years studying about who we are, the Brazilian people. Scholars such as Darcy Ribeiro, Gilberto Freyre, among others, tried to answer this question, perhaps there is no single explanation, but these photos show what is happening today with those who, perhaps understand life differently, those who invaded Brazil lost part of their identity, were already here before we are what is called Brazilian.

The photos are very good, there was a mature, there is symmetry and tri tone.
Pudi not comment. Congratulations. Straight ahead, just so life becomes meaningful.
