What is the challenge of making a circuit of exhibitions parallel to Paraty in Focus?

Find works of interest to visitors, exhibition spaces to choose good and do pertinetes mounts to a public that includes major names in photography is definitely a challenge, but I prefer to understand the challenge as a good opportunity to add to Paraty in Focus and show the work of more 10 talented artists. Anyway I think I can better answer this question when you see the result of OFF.

What (and how) was the criterion for the selection of papers to be presented?

Diversity was an important criterion. From the beginning, when I was invited, I thought of making a circuit, wanted each of the exposures had a different atmosphere. Also tried to work with young artists [7 among the 10] realized that the OFF condition would be perfect for this. Furthermore I have a particular interest in some issues that are recurring:

. the discussion between image and reality

. human behavior

I noticed that there are a variety of interesting topics, approaches and narratives between exposures. It was natural or was already pre-established this heterogeneity?

As I said before, this really was the main criterion used, the diversity, but I believe it still is more evident because I chose artists who work with plenty of personality.

The works will follow after the PEF for a gallery in Sao Paulo. It is a new exhibition space in the state capital?

Yes, after Paraty in Focus [23-27 September] the works of the OFF Click migrate to the Shed and inaugurate this new exhibition space in SP.

The Shed Click is "son" of Frames Click one of the first moldurarias SP, was created by the brilliant Wesley Duke Lee and his mother, D Odila. Click Today is the responsibility of Patricia Lee, niece of Wesley. The inauguration is scheduled for Oct. 7, and we have invitations available for visitors in the exhibition off Paraty in Focus.
