It took me almost thirty years to make the picture a barricade in Paris. The first chance was in 1978, sixteen years old when he first resided in France during his exile from my father. I was photographing a demonstration commemorating the May 1. In the excitement of a beginner, I spent four movies shooting other aspects of manifestation. I remember when cars torched in forming the barricade, there were more movies, I asked several photographers who were covering the event, but none can get me a movie, finally, I could not get the shot, everything was happening in front of me was great frustration. On my return to France in 2006, I did not hesitate, I got the machine and cover a huge demonstration against the First Employment Law. The students marched peacefully. In the scattering hundreds of young people who did not participate in the demonstration, the police provoked a burning car on the Place de la Nation. There was one student who courageously tried to avoid confrontation, raising his arms and calling for calm amid the bustle. This time, I had several films in the bag and waited patiently for this moment. I was the only photographer who was not a helmet to protect the stones and objects thrown at police.
