On the morning of Wednesday busy with commitments, the rest took a cold day here in New York and went to SESC Pinheiros and saw the exhibition Henri Cartier-Bresson: Photographer and Bressonianas. Classics are always inspiring. Bressonianas, exposure of Brazilians inspired by HCB could be a small detail within the three floors of the SESC only with photographs. It is not! It's a beautiful show with wonderful pictures and assembly in December For me, scored top mount is simplicity and efficiency walking together.

At night, I was at the launch of the book of the Sacred Images of the Unicamp professor Fernando de Tacca. One of the great thinkers of Brazilian photography. I went running after, at the invitation of Juan Esteves (since access was invitation only), go to the opening of the exhibition Walker Evans in the MASP. This same show, had seen in Madrid in March. As I said before ... Classics are always inspiring.

The best night was chatting with Armando Marcelo Prado and Pallotta, both the collective SX-70 . Armando was apparently thrilled to see Evans and when we parted, had tears in his eyes. That's because he had not yet reached the end of exposure, where are the Polaroids Evans.

Returning to the hotel, I realized that two of the leading photographers of the 20th century are in Sao Paulo: Cartier-Bresson and Evans.

More Walker Evans in Olhavê.
