Given the requests, the Paraty in Focus workshop open another weight! Jay Colton arrives with his Guerrilla Media .

The high demand for workshops led us to create another one! We take the presence of Jay Colton in Brazil and to invite a challenge, a guerrilla multimedia experience!

Photojournalist, Jay Colton has always sought innovative formats and new languages to their work and for this specialty, was photo editor for Time magazine's special projects, Gamma and Sygma Agency. Awarded three times in the NPPA (National Press Photographers Association), was also a professor at the ICP in New York and the Universities of Rochester and Vermont.

The workshop is to create a presentation about the Festival, about 15 minutes, with a singular vision of the group itself. Will be used several multimedia possibilities of the universe such as photography, video, stop motion, mergers, and other audio traquitanas.

Without the obligation to show any official results, the group has to be a real challenge working with formal and thematic unity, mood and quality in a very short time.

This workshop is aimed at professional photographers and advanced amateurs who have digital video equipment and / or photo, laptop and knowledge in Final Cut or Premiere. During the festival the participants of this workshop will be duly accredited in all event activities and thus free access to document them.

Remember that this workshop has few vacancies, and then run your application now!

Other workshops are still a few places: the Imaginary Flights by Gerardo Montiel Klint, Narrative in Documentary Photography - Encounters and Interactions , by Claudine Doury, Your Point of View , by Héctor Mediavilla and Digital Immersion , for Clicio Barroso and his team.

I think you guys kinda weird not comment on the spphoto .. The impression that he is here for nothing.

Qdo that there will be humility among the photographers? Qdo things will be more black and white and without deception?

    Face Rafela,

The SP Photo has been celebrated on this blog, without deceit. We all know that Jay Colton is not here "for nothing." Not tapamos the sun with a sieve.

And we can not generalize about humility by placing the entire category with the same brush.
