She is a photographer Peter and David, "Emanuelle", the exhibition is "The Pursuit of Happiness" in Noorderlicht Photo Festival . The exhibit features 70 artists with a single image of each and has curated by Wim Melis.

The Noorderlicht is one of the most important festivals in Europe and David have stayed there in 2005 with the trio miner Underwater Landscape , Pedro Motta and João Castilho .

The work of Peter is in Holland, but he's very near here, in the interior of Pernambuco. Peter is producing photos for your project that was approved at the 47th Salon of Plastic Arts of Pernambuco and "lost" in the wilderness. To find him ... He made a blog .

When I wrote to talk about the Noorderlicht, was in São José do Belmonte, from Willow. When I answered the email, I was in Sierra Talhada.

The blog 're pretty cool and shows how this mining is conducting its work. The last post I read was great:

Whenever I come to an unknown country without knowing how I (re) start the work. Unfold the map to search for any district whose name I call attention.

How did I come now to the backwoods of Pajeu, my eyes stopped in a district called Pajeu, located on the river that gives name to the region, about 30 km from the city. I waited right until after noon, because I do not like hanging out with the sun overhead, wandering on dirt roads with white light at the top, I was faced with scenes without adequate light for shooting.

I did not think that anyone who knew the district, all those asked said that this was the name of the river. I gave up briefly, I was looking for another ... Luanda.

I took the dirt road in the direction indicated, and went. After passing through a small town, I made mention to stop but I kept moving on the road. When I came to an end of line, location where he was asked, Mirador.

That's when I learned that this was not populated Luanda, but Santa Rita. Luanda would be going in a left, I quit after a few ribs in the beginning of the road.

This project is called "Stone Man" and here in Olhavê have an interview with Peter David about his creative process.

In November, Peter will be showing her at Recife Stone Man.
