During the 2nd edition of Photoquai, the Musée du Quai Branly in Paris presents the exhibition "165 years of Iranian photography," which offers a vast panorama of Iranian photography from the late nineteenth century. The exhibition begins with the history of photography in Iran in the late nineteenth century and continues with images of war during the twentieth century, and the second part presents some thirty productions of great contemporary Iranian photographers, some currently working in Iran and abroad. Nearly 30 years after the Islamic revolution and 20 years after the end of the Iran-Iraq war, Iran has emerged as the photo in full force, reflecting the identity of the history of Iran, and their way of perceiving the world. Until November 29, 2009. Watch a video here . Learn more about the exhibition here
