Livia Aquino
"Hello everyone from the CIA, okay out there?
So I see St. Paul. I am not of birth São Paulo, but it took the city in my life.
I have a fascination for images of landscape, not the cliched notion that they carry, but refer to an ideal of territory. For me, these paintings are so common in St. Paul are like a search for a piece of land, something that reflects the sense of dispossession felt in large cities. They are idealized views of the mountain, waterfall, sea, sunset, wildlife, finally, are visual tales.
I am always imagining the guy who hired the painter and the negotiation of the elements of the scene that will decorate the place of their livelihood. So, every day in the morning, before opening his business, the guy can contemplate their particular landscape, possibly 'better' than the view from your window.
There are five photos that I did for you, edit as they wish. Grateful for the invitation and for once again sharing experiences!
Best regards, Livia "
