In 1983, photojournalist Luis Morier returned an agenda towards the writing of the Jornal do Brazil by road Grajaú-Jacarepagua in Rio de Janeiro when faced with a blitz of PM in a slum. Just got out of the story and began shooting. Suddenly he saw a scene that seemed unbelievable in today's times, six black residents of the community were arrested and driven by a PM, tied by the neck as slaves humiliated. A photo titled "All Blacks" ran the world and earned him the Esso Prize for photography in 1983. Luiz Morier discovered photography through his father, journalist Max Morier. Louis began his career in 1977 at the now defunct newspaper Ultima Hora. He worked in the newspaper O Globo and was photo editor of Jornal do Brazil.
