The fabulous Cornell Capa

The American photographer Cornell Capa (1918-2008), founded in 1974 the International Center of Photography - ICP (International Center of Photography), a foundation that brings together the work of his brother Robert Capa, among them the famous photo of the dead militiaman in the Spanish Civil War. ICP is a meeting place for professionals in the photography world, and throughout its existence, has promoted hundreds of exhibitions, workshops and conferences. Born in Hungary in 1936, Cornell Capa joined his brother in Paris, before moving in the United States the following year. Employee "Life" magazine published its first picture in 1938, the British magazine "Picture Post". He obtained American citizenship in 1944. After his brother's death in 1954, Cornell Capa became president of Magnum. Cornell Capa has reported throughout his career, especially in Latin America and the former USSR. Also covered election campaigns in the United States, among them that led John F. Kennedy to the presidency.
