Burt Glinn and the triumph of the Cuban Revolution

In the picture above we see the photojournalist Burt Glinn American soldiers celebrating the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in Havana in January 1959, after the flight of the dictator Fulgencio Batista. Burt Glinn was born in 1925 in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), began work on the Magnum Agency in 1951, who twice headed. Student of literature at Harvard, he served in the U.S. Army between 1943 and 1946 and began working in Life Magazine in 1949 before joining Magnum. He died in 2008 at age 82.
