Exhibition in Prague reveals the work of one of the pioneers of Spanish fotojornalimo

It was inaugurated at the Instituto Cervantes in the Czech capital an exhibition of photographs by Luis Ramón Marín, one of the pioneers of fotojornalimo Spanish. The photographer Madrid began his career very young and soon went to work for theater magazines and the daily newspaper ABC. The exhibition will be launched worldwide in Prague on display until the next day April 16, 2010. The curator was performed by the artist's daughter, Lucia Marin Pla. The work of Marin (1884-1944) immortalized characters of politics and society in the first half of last century. Among the beauties shot by Marin Uries include Conchita, Miss Alicante, Peche and Carmen diva Josephine Baker in her dressing room in 1930. Marin was a contemporary of other great Spanish photographers, among them Alfonso, Claret, Contreras and Vilaseca, and Gaspar. See more pictures of Luis Ramón Marín Here
