The Second Forum of Latin American Photography of St. Paul has already marked the date and place: 20-24 October, at Itaú Cultural. This year the theme of the event is Away, Out of Axis - Exiles and migration in the picture. Will be conducted seminars, exhibitions, workshops and readings of portfolios.

The program is still closed but are expected more than 70 guests. Already confirmed the Canadian Alec Soth , Paolo Gasparini Venezuelan, Cuban Abelardo Morell , Spaniard Joan Fontcuberta and Brazilian Claudia Andujar . Iatã Cannabrava is the event coordinator and curator is the responsibility of Eduardo Brandão and Cia de Foto.

To anticipate the debate and discussions that will centralize profundadas during the 2nd Latin American Photography Forum of Sao Paulo, being created a Virtual Forum, which will be edited by Alexandre Belém . Georgia Farms and Ronaldo Entler part of the editorial board.

The 1st Latin American Forum of Photography was held in Sao Paulo in 2007, 2-6 October, and was responsible for one of the great interaction that is seen today among the producers of photography in Latin America. Some issues raised in the forum the past will be resumed. But two questions are central to the forum that takes place in October: As far as carry our cultural references when you're away from home? To what extent contaminated by contaminate and we feel that we live and in other lands?
