Exhibition in Milan displays 200 photographs taken by Stanley Kubrick
© Photo of Stanley Kubrick. Self-portrait done in the 40s. An exhibition in Milan displays a collection of 200 photographs taken between 1945 to 1950 by Stanley Kubrick. Before becoming a famous filmmaker, Kubrick worked as a photographer as a teenager. The shy boy from the Bronx reported dramatically the daily lives of New York, with a preference for the city's underworld characters. At 17, he was the youngest photographer to be hired by Look magazine, where he worked for five years. The show can be seen in the Palazzo della Ragione in Milan, from April 16 to July 4, 2010.
