Save Annie!
In the documentary The photographer's life, Anna Wintour, editor of American Vogue, says he relies entirely on instinct Annie Leibovitz, and declares that the ideas of the photographer are all embraced by the magazine. Of course, if the budget did not include everything she wanted, even bancava Anne. To have your photo dreams turned into reality, Anne paid, out of pocket, plane tickets, paychecks and daily makeup artists, stylists, and stunt dwarves, rental elephants and many other treats. That's what led to a debt of $ 24 million company with Art Capital.
In an agreement signed this year, the Art Capital postponed the deadline for debt payment and canceled the clause in the contract that went to the company the rights to the work and goods Annie if she did not pay the debt. Then the photographer hired Brunswick Capital Partners, a company that would help her to find investors thus pay off their debts. The value of the contract? U.S. $ 345,000 plus 2% on the loan amount achieved (if it was achieved!).
The firm raised $ 40 million to Annie, so, theoretically, was for her to be able to pay its debt early (with Art Capital) and pay for the services of Brunswick Capital Partners ... But she did not pay! Result: the company opened another case against Annie in the amount of $ 800,000.
Debts Annie cause uproar in the press. The Hint Magazine said in a statement touched, they are lovers of photography who have a debt with Annie, while the Telegraph pointed out that the photographer is described as "living legend" in the not-unimportant Library of Congress.

sucker, which die down soon, there will be a "lendia" dead!
oops, Andrew, that constructive comment!
I wish she recuperase and continued shooting. I do not like people who pulled the rug from other people ... It does not magnify the spirit!
I'm not a fan of the work of the Lady Annie - Susan Sontag was much more interesting - and not for her, but I have to admit that she shoots better than most people I know who's doing frills around for such a "picture contemponânea Brazilian ... "as if the decisive moment was buried. Hasta la vista!
