The programming of the 6th edition of Paraty in Focus (PEF), to be held 15-19 September, is quite extensive and offers options to meet the diverse expectations. Besides the more than 20 workshops, with Alfredo de Stefano, Bob Wolfenson, Claudio Edinger, Chiodetto Eder, John Castillo, Clicio Barroso, among other Brazilian and foreign professionals, will be held 11 exhibitions, 15 meetings / interviews, an evening of auctions, all within the official program of the festival.

The five days of Paraty in Focus seem slightly when one considers the large number of activities to be promoted, not counting the extra programming that ranges from interactive initiatives, such as Photo Barter, the outdoor exhibitions, facilities and course of rotogravure .

Scheduled for 17, 18 and 19, during periods of 13h at 15h and 20h to 21h (for the last two days), Barter Photo aims to rescue this ancient form of commerce that does not use the money, but good itself, and encourage hoarding. The idea is to change a photo by another without the value added of the relevance of the author. Those wishing to attend should register in the activity and choose one or more photos themselves, taking no more than ten copies of each, preferably in size 20 × 30cm. Already confirmed as participants in the barter Photo: Claudio Versiani, Clicio Barroso, Rosangela Renno, Claudio Edinger, among others.

Two extra programming activities are under the responsibility of the PEF Workshop Image: "15 meters" and "Face to Face: photographers revealed." "15 meters" is conducted in partnership with Artsalon and it is an exhibition of this size, making the Rio de Janeiro in many ways, performing a kind of inventory of the city through the eyes of 15 photographers who work in various locals areas. The canvas will be printed where the images will remain installed in a wall of the city of Paraty throughout the Festival.

Since the project "Face to Face: photographers revealed" involves the installation of an aluminum frame, coated with black, sides and roof of translucent material to mount a mini-studio in Church Square. The photographer and teacher Marian Starosta remain in the mini-studio to portray the festival participants.
